Job Description
Action Property Management, a premier management company, is seeking a Full-Time Access Control Officer to join our team at our luxury residential community, EVO located in Los Angeles.
Job Summary
The purpose of a Door Host/Access Control Officer is to greet residents/visitors and provide a constant security presence on the exterior and interior as well as respond as necessary to needs at the property. Door Host/Access Control Officers report directly to the Front Desk Lead and shall follow all instructions given by the Front Desk Lead and General Manager. Door Host/Access Control Officers are also responsible for patrolling and inspecting the common areas, the HOA's rules are being followed and the property is well maintained.
Door Host/Access Control Officers must at all times display a professional appearance and speak in a polite manner and clear tone, including answering telephones or addressing people who have approached the front entrance.
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM-6:30 AM but may be subject to change
Compensation: $20.00 per hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Open the lobby door for all residents and guests, except when performing patrols.
 - Monitor all outdoor activities to address any issues
 - Perform routine inspections of the Common Areas, including the building perimeter, (including residential hallways and stairwells), and document any discrepancies. Report any concern to Management.
 - Represent Action Property Management and Evo by greeting residents, guests, and other visitors in a welcoming and professional manner
 - Be familiar with the parking structure
 - Perform other related tasks and duties as assigned by management
 - Answer phones and greet all residents and guests as they enter or exit the property
 
Requirements
- 6 months of customer service experience. Preferably in hospitality or luxury property management.
 - Polished and professional appearance and demeanor
 - Strong verbal and written communication
 - Strong critical thinking skills. Must be solutions-oriented
 - High attention to detail
 - Personable and capable of building a strong rapport with residents and guests
 - Team player
 - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
