Hampton Point Apartments, located in Silver Spring, MD, is looking for a skilled and dependable Service Technician to join our maintenance team. In this role, you’ll help maintain the community, ensure resident satisfaction, and keep daily operations running smoothly

🔧 Service Technician – Hampton Point Apartments

📍 Location: Silver Spring, MD

💵 Compensation: $24/hour (based on experience) + phone allowance

Key Responsibilities

• Respond quickly and professionally to maintenance work orders
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance
• Prepare apartment homes for new residents (turnovers)
• Handle general repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance maintenance
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency repairs
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Hands-on knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
• Availability for after-hours emergency response (evenings, weekends, holidays)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3–5 years of residential maintenance experience preferred
• HVAC experience/certification preferred
