Service Technician – Hampton Point Apartments

Location: Silver Spring, MD

Compensation: $21/hour (based on experience) + phone allowance

Hampton Point Apartments, located in Silver Spring, MD, is seeking a skilled and reliable Service Technician to join our maintenance team. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the property, ensuring resident satisfaction, and supporting day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to maintenance work orders
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks
• Prepare apartment units for new residents (turnovers)
• Complete general repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
• Repair and maintain appliances
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized property and work environment
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency repairs
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry required
• Availability to respond to after-hours emergencies (evenings, weekends, holidays)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
  
  

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a residential setting
