Job Description

What You'll Do

Supervise the on-site maintenance crew

Oversee all repairs in common areas, ensuring compliance with HOA governing documents.

Manage daily building operations, ensuring adherence to HOA policies and regulatory standards.

Optimize the performance of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, fire safety, and HVAC.

Coordinate and supervise work with the onsite maintenance team and external contractors for building maintenance and repairs.

Responsible for hiring, training and developing onsite maintenance team

Plan and execute preventative maintenance to extend the life of building systems.

Collaborate with the General Manager on improvements and modifications to building systems.

Who You Are(Skills/ Experience)

Minimum of 3 years of onsite high-rise or mid-rise building engineer experience, preferably in property management, hospitality, or commercial property management.

Familiar with the Uniform Commercial Building Code

HOA experience is a plus

Hands-on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and painting experience.

Fire system management experience

Strong verbal and written communication

Team player attitude

Must be available by cell phone 24/7 for emergencies

Certifications/Licenses

HVAC Certification

EPA/608 License

Fire Pump Certificate preferred

Fire Life Safety Director Certificate preferred

Valid California Driver's License and Auto Insurance
