Job Description
Sentry Management is seeking an experienced and talented executive as COO who demonstrates leadership and can develop long-term strategies. Job responsibilities include revenue growth, managing costs. increasing productivity, improving operations and monitoring progress.
Responsibilities
- Executive leadership of association management services, including all local offices responsible for community management, and all departments responsible for client accounting and support services.
 - Provide senior management and leadership that aligns with the company’s business culture, financial plan, and strategic vision
 - Foster a growth oriented, positive, and encouraging environment while keeping employees and management accountable to the company policies, procedures, and guidelines
 - Plan, develop, and oversee implementation of long-term and short-term goals and programs that improve the enterprise’s service delivery and financial success
 - Provide the President with strategic operational recommendations based on the current environment and forecast
 - Drive company results from both an operational and financial perspective working closing with the President and other key executives
 - Identify opportunities to improve association management services in all areas of service delivery
 - Work with senior executives and local executives to provide superior community management services.
 - Maintain the highest standards in accounting services, fiduciary responsibilities and financial controls
 - Guide client service departments as they support community management
 - Understand, implement and improve how Foundation Principles, Sentry Promises, Language of Service and similar strategic initiatives are core components of the internal and external operations
 - Provide accurate and timely reports outlining the operational condition of the company
 - Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective business development growth strategies and processes
 - Forge strategic partnerships and relationships with clients, vendors, and other professional business relationships
 - Travel to company divisions and variety of industry events on a regular basis
 - Perform other duties as may be required or assigned.
 
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration or relevant field, Master’s Degree preferred
 - Minimum 5 years of executive level operation experience required
 - Exceptional executive presence, business acumen and presentation skills
 - Proven record of success in financial and service oversight
 - Ability to lead and motivate other executives
 - High level skills in writing and editing, planning and coordination of numerous tasks, and using software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
 - Understanding of business functions including HR, Marketing, Sales, Accounting, Finance, etc.
 - Demonstrated competency in strategic planning and business development
 - Experience with and knowledge in community association management
 - Based in Orlando, Florida preferred, if not based in Orlando, significant travel to Home Office will be required.
