Job Description
A Code Enforcement Specialist/Architectural Administrator plays an active role in achieving long-term customer satisfaction in the context of Community Association relationships. Specific responsibilities will vary within the assigned community and may include but are not limited to: Inspecting properties for maintenance, landscaping, safety, and compliance issues and accurately recording findings.
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Notify responsible parties of code issues given in writing, by phone, in person and electronically.
- Respond to and investigate allegations of violations of codes to determine validity of complaints and the appropriate course of action to mitigate issues.
- Investigate and enforce property codes within boundaries.
- Schedule and perform systematic property maintenance inspections to maintain or achieve minimum property standards.
- Administer Architectural Process, receipt, logging and facilitation of arch committee agendas and materials for meetings.
- Shares in duties and acts as back up to association office front desk and general operations.
- Supports community activities, prepares notices, tickets, fliers, updates electronic bulletin board, and calendar on an ongoing basis.
- Other administrative office duties as assigned.
Knowledge And Skills
- Knowledge of company policies, procedures and forms.
- Knowledge of general maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.)
- Knowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements.
- Knowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements.
- Knowledge of architectural plans and/or drawings at a proficient level.
- Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.
- Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
- Professional customer service skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
- Time management and time critical prioritization skills.
Education And Experience
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Associates Degree Preferred
- 0 – 3 years of directly related or closely related experience
- Advanced Customer Facing Skills
Working Conditions
- Typical office environment
- Schedule: Mon - Fri 8am to 4:30pm
- Wage Range: $25 - $27 depending on experience.
