LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE MANAGER – Oak Creek Estados (Sedona, AZ)
This is a full-time position is responsible for overseeing landscape field operations at Oak Creek Estados located in Sedona, AZ. This position will assist our on-site Maintenance Manager to oversee landscape maintenance, ensuring quality of all landscaping functions to meet a high level of community standards. Benefits after 60 days for FT employees - medical, dental, vision, PTO and holiday pay. 
Pay Rate: $22/Hourly DOE
Major Job Responsibilities
- Oversight of day-to-day landscaping needs for the Association
 - Oversight of landscape and irrigation contractors – specifically home sites.
 - Summer home site visits to ensure quality control
 - Plant selection (right plant for conditions) as needed for replacement plants
 - Demonstrated landscape management and maintenance experience
 - Proficient computer skills and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office software, email applications, and centralized irrigation software
 - Ability to manage projects within budget and produce related reports
 - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in planning, problem solving and organizing work.
 - Promotes goodwill, high quality customer service, anticipates and resolves landscape-related issues.
 
 Duties:
- Supervises, trains, and directs Landscape Maintenance Tech
 - Maintains and regularly monitors daily work, irrigation, and special projects.
 - Develops and implements plans and procedures for day-to-day operations pertaining to landscape maintenance of the property.
 - Develops proposals to initiate landscape maintenance work and special projects and oversees the timely completion of these activities.
 - Regularly inspects properties and grounds to ensure property maintenance and cleanliness.
 - Maintains and provides suggested improvements to client properties
 - Maintaining open communication related to service requests.
 - On-site point of contact for landscape vendors
 - Other duties as required to include, but not limited to: Pruning, pest management and identification, horticultural knowledge
 
Requirements:
- Irrigation knowledge
 - Driver’s license with clean driving record
 - Highly motivated individual, self-driven, and detail oriented
 - Strong verbal and written communication skills in the English language
 - Excellent time-management skills
 - Ability to troubleshoot issues/obstacles, and provide immediate/long-term solutions
 - Ability to prioritize and multi-task
 - Punctual and dependable
 - Able to work effectively with individuals of differing knowledge and backgrounds
 - Proficient use of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word
