Summary

The candidate must have exceptional customer service skills, excellent communication skills, and ability to constantly move and arrange equipment, have a disposition for facility cleanliness and be self-motivated. Candidate is responsible for the daily set-up of equipment, cleanliness, and overall functionality of the club facilities.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Perform grounds keeping and landscaping maintenance duties.
• Cut lawn using hand or power mowers.
• Trim and edge around walks, flowerbeds, walls, etc.
• Landscape by planting flowers, grass, shrubs, bushes. Keep plantings trimmed, edged and free of weeds.
• Apply pesticide for insects and others pests as needed, according to proper regulatory guidelines and techniques (CalOSHA, EPA, etc.).
• Apply fertilizer to ground to enhance growth.
• Keep walkways clean and clear of all debris.
• Cut down tree limbs and branches that are posing danger.
• Rake, mulch and prune grounds as needed.
• Water plants and grass as needed.
• Make adjustments to sprinkler and time clocks as needed.
• Installs minor additions and makes repairs to sprinklers and irrigation lines.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Requirements

Minimum Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent helpful.
• Minimum of one year related job experience.
  
  

Language Skills

The individual must have strong written communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with employees and clients at all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing.

License/Permits/Certifications Required

Valid driver’s license and State mandated vehicle insurance.
