We are seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Technician for our Orlando, FL market (Winter Park, FL)
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the quality completion of all maintenance tasks and projects at their assigned association. This position requires interaction with homeowners, vendors, HOA community managers, and the Association Board of Directors.
25 Hours per week
General Maintenance Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Trash cans – Monday and Thursday:
- After trash pickup, the cans must be cleaned before being returned to their designated areas.
- Always keep trash and recycling rooms clean.
- Garage Drains:
- Drains Interlachen & Morse must always be kept clean of leaves and debris.
- Pressure wash courtyards/sidewalks:
- Do not use bleach or corrosive chemicals when pressure washing.
- Do not use high PSI because this damages the coating on the surface of these areas.
- Building, Garage, Elevator, and Landscape Lights:
- These are to be checked to ensure the lights are working. Change light bulbs as needed. Check with the manager first regarding electrical repairs that are needed; you may make small repairs if there is no safety issue for you or the community.
- 4 Ponds:
- Pond baskets empty debris daily.
Applicants Must
- Have previous Maintenance experience
- Be professional, organized and self-motivated
- Be able to work independently with little supervision
- Have the ability to stand, bend, climb, and walk up to 4 hours per day
- Be able to safely bend and lift up to 50lbs.
- Be able to work in variable weather conditions
- Possess general computer skills
- Hold a valid license to operate a motor vehicle with a clean driving record
