The residents choose to live here for the lifestyle. The community is a very active, family-oriented area. On any given day, you will see many residents taking advantage of the scenic canal walkways. These lushly-landscaped walkways are perfect for jogging or an afternoon stroll. There are also several city and association parks, including an aquatic center, for the residents' enjoyment.
Our Operations Coordinator will serve as the onsite point of contact for assessment collections and hold responsibility for monitoring payment arrangements. This role will collaborate with collection attorneys and AR representatives as related to the collection of assessments. They will play a crucial role in executing our company’s purpose statement: We build community by bringing people together in the neighborhoods where they live and, in the offices, where we work. Simply put, we create experiences that connect people.
What You’ll Accomplish
- Assist Community Manager in all aspects of daily business and operations to maintain the management direction of the community association
- Oversee related service contractors and vendors, interact with community residents and volunteers
- Maintains all association records as required by the governing documents, federal and state law and CCMC protocol
- Works with Community Manager to ensure proper documentation of contracts, invoices and other expenses
- Oversee daily office functions, answering phone, email, and assisting with walk-in guests, ensuring that the needs and requests of the residents are dealt with in a timely and professional manner
- Assist the Community Manager with meeting preparation
- Assist in new owner orientations and training of Board(s) and committee members
- Other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with assessment collections and attorney collections
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when needed
- Two years of proven career advancement in a professional business environment
- Associate’s or Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience
- Attention to detail and a customer focused attitude
- Ability to multi-task on a variety of levels with the utmost of focus and professionalism
- Knowledge of community association management principles, procedures, and standards
- Have a valid driver’s license and current vehicle liability insurance
- Prefer two years of community management
If driving is, or becomes, a requirement of the role, it is required, at all times, that you hold a valid state driver’s license for the class of vehicle you are driving, maintain a clean motor vehicle report, and hold current automobile insurance at statutory limits. You must notify Human Resources immediately regarding any change to your motor vehicle standing. CCMC may periodically review motor vehicle reports to ensure compliance with these requirements.
The physical requirements can vary, but generally, they may include:
- Mobility: Ability to walk the grounds long distances in various weather conditions.
- Lifting and Carrying: Occasionally lifting and carrying supplies or equipment up to 25 pounds.
- Extended Sitting or Standing: Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events.
- Manual Dexterity: Skills in using technology, including computers and mobile devices.
- Driving: Ability to operate vehicle to perform certain job functions. (Please note: We will request and review an MVR at the time of hire and on a periodic basis thereafter to ensure that employees maintain a satisfactory driving status.)
