The Tax Team Lead will be responsible for providing direction, instruction and guidance to the Tax Specialist. This is an accounting support position in a fast paced centralized accounting services environment providing financial services to community associations throughout North America. Candidates for this position must meet Associa’s credit requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Tax Supervisor with Interviews to fill positions for the Tax Department.
 - Assure the Tax Specialists receive proper training and assist in all aspects of Association processes.
 - Know the tasks that are required of the Tax Specialists.
 - Confirm accuracy of all processes and procedures.
 - Assist in developing departmental procedures.
 - Occasional work on weekends may be required.
 - Other duties as assigned.
 
Knowledge and Skills:
- Able to manage multiple employees.
 - Knowledge of tax processing.
 - Experience in customer service.
 - High attention to detail and accuracy.
 - Strong judgment and analytical skills.
 - Microsoft Office.
 - Good written and verbal communication skills.
 - Complete Control for Communities (C3) software, preferred but not required.
 - Understanding of, or experience in, the Community Association Management Industry, preferred but not required.
 - Experience working in an Accounting Shared Services Center environment, preferred but not required.
 
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or minimum 3 years of experience in tax.
 - Minimum 3 years supervisory experience.
