Position Overview
The Vice President of Finance will lead the company’s financial operations with a primary focus on building and maintaining a rigorous accounting function and disciplined financial processes. This role is ideal for a results-driven finance leader with a strong foundation in operational finance and accounting who is ready to take the next step toward enterprise leadership. The ideal candidate will bring both technical depth and a passion for enabling growth through data-driven insights and financial clarity.
Essential Functions
- Accounting & Financial Operations
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounting, budgeting, reporting, AR/AP, payroll, general ledger, and treasury.
- Drive scalable process discipline, close cadence, and internal controls across all finance functions.
- Ensure transparent, timely, accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
- Manage audits, tax compliance, and internal financial policies.
- Financial Planning & Value-Added Finance
- Lead annual operating planning (budget process) and rolling forecast processes in partnership with business leaders.
- Deliver timely, clear, actionable reporting and insights on KPIs, unit economics, and financial performance.
- Partner with the CEO and department leaders to inform operational decisions with data and analysis.
- Continuously implement tools and systems that improve financial visibility and business planning.
- Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team focused on accuracy, accountability, efficiency, transparency, and excellence.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, operational efficiency and professional development within the team.
- Business Partnership
- Serve as a key partner to the CEO in driving operational efficiency and financial performance.
- Provide structured FP&A and recommendations to support pricing, investment, and growth initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align finance with company goals and ensure strategic execution.
- Other Responsibilities
- Perform additional duties as needed in support of organizational success.
Skills & Qualifications
- CPA or MBA required.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles.
- At least 5+ years in a leadership role, ideally in a SaaS or tech-enabled business.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience running a tight month-end close and reporting process.
- Proven ability to deliver actionable insights and support executive decision-making with data.
- Strong systems acumen; experience with ERP, BI tools, and SaaS metrics preferred.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused.
This position will remain open through May 30th, 2025 at a minimum, but will remain posted until filled.

This position is a full-time position based out of our Denver, CO headquarters and pays an annual salary of $200,000 - $250,000 + 30% bonus potential.
