Apartment Maintenance Tech- 500 Park

500 &520 Park Avenue Apartments, located in the historic Mount Vernon area of Baltimore, City, is in need of a qualified worker to join our service team. This person will be expected to respond to maintenance work orders, perform preventative maintenance as directed, and prepare units for move-in. Ideal candidates will work well both with a team and individually. Excellent customer service skills required; some prior experience in residential maintenance is preferred.

Service Technician – 500 Park Avenue Apartments

Location: Mount Vernon, Baltimore City

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Compensation: $20/hour (based on experience)

500 Park Avenue Apartments, located in the historic Mount Vernon neighborhood of Baltimore, is seeking a skilled and dependable Service Technician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

As a Service Technician at WPM, your primary responsibilities will include responding to maintenance work orders, conducting preventative maintenance, and preparing apartments for new residents.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Perform HVAC troubleshooting and routine maintenance
• Repair and maintain appliances, electrical systems, and plumbing
• Hang, prep, and sand drywall
• Paint apartment units and common areas
• Maintain grounds, ensuring safety and cleanliness
• Assist with snow removal as needed
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (evenings, weekends, holidays)
  
  

✅ Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in plumbing, electrical, or carpentry required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3–5 years of experience in residential property maintenance
• Must be available for on-call emergencies (nights, weekends, holidays)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• Comfortable working on ladders and lifting up to 85 lbs
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
